Here I present every single correct argument for virtue ethics
Virtue ethics feels like the equivalent of this to me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2dt2MPpFlo
Unfathomably based
I thought utilitarianism was the philosophy of impartial benevolence, which sounds like a virtue to me.
You don't have to be a virtue ethicist to believe in virtue.
I meant: utilitarianism depicts morality as being *entirely about* the practice of a certain virtue.
I should've written: utilitarianism *seems* to depict morality as being entirely about the practice of a certain virtue.
*not assuming you agree with this, but wondering why you would disagree if you do...
Lol it's possible to be a utilitarian and also promote certain virtues, and you could plausibly call that being a virtue ethicist
