Alexander Pruss—one of the smartest philosophers around, who has a Ph.D in both math and philosophy—was once asked what the most important thing he’d learned over the years was. His answer turned out to be almost the same as something that my smartest friend had once told me. And not only is this answer a fairly profound and important insight, I think it shows, in quite an important way, the monstrous folly of cancel culture.
