Good post. It's not 20% of young Americans who are Holocaust deniers though. It's closer to 3%: https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/03/05/online-opt-in-polls-can-produce-misleading-results-especially-for-young-people-and-hispanic-adults/. A good heuristic is that most polling data is bullshit and should be ignored, especially if the finding seems surprising and among young people.

I am 23 and know multiple people my age who are Holocaust deniers. I show them the Korherr Report, Wansee Protocols, Posen speech, works of Christopher Browning, etc and they just say that it's all "Jooish lies".

It's impossible to argue against Holocaust deniers because they're epistemologically bankrupt. They think every piece of documentation that proves the Holocaust actually happened was fabricated by Jews or the CIA, while any evidence that goes against the prevailing narrative of the Holocaust is true beyond doubt even if it showed up in some dude's basement in the 1980s.

You can't argue with them because they don't want to believe it happened. They think that denying the Holocaust makes them some ultra-based dissident and it's important their ego that they possess some secret knowledge.
