I’m pretty productive in terms of completing the tasks I have in ordinary life. I write roughly one article a day, including during the school year when I also have school work to complete. Even pretty long and research-intensive articles generally only take me a few days to write. At the high end, I write around 7,000 words in a day.
I wasn’t always this way. In my earlier years, I was disproportionately non-productive. In middle and high school, I struggled to allocate time to get my schoolwork done (in high school, for instance, I’d often do my math homework during the lunch period before it was due).
In light of this, I thought I’d share some advice for being more productive. Now, obviously these aren’t automatic panaceas. But hopefully, some of them can help you work somewhat more efficiently.
