One of my favorite things about this blog is just how open-minded you are. Even though I often disagree with your conclusions, I like how you never dismiss any idea -- whether it be a multiverse that contains all possible people, a world where miracles happen all the time, or a world where AI is conscious -- as inherently ridiculous and not worth engaging with, simply because it sounds weird. And although I don't agree with a lot of your weirder ideas, I will admit that I'm not really sure how to refute them, because you follow the evidence where it leads, instead of being led by pre-determined biases.

Shameless plug but if you're interesting in reading more about the case for and against digital minds (i.e. the risks of both underattributing and overattributing moral status and what science can presently disambiguate vs what is unclear) you might check out our quickstart guide where we group podcasts for a casual exploration, papers for a deeper dive, and map out the nascent landscape of the research field.
