Hey man, I care. If u/niceicecreamguylmao67 keeps being a wise guy, I’ll take him out to an abandoned parking lot and give him a little "lecture" on epistemology, if you know what I mean.

I like the whole notion of having my ideas ready to go in packaged forms.

It can get annoying when people make responses to your stuff that you don’t like. But the last time that happened I just ignored it and continued writing what I wanted instead.

It's all fun and games, until you start getting death threats. I mean that metaphorically - mostly. The literal death threats may or may not be a problem depending on one's perspective. But having someone try hurt your life because they're an ideological fanatic is not fun at all.

I don't recommend blogging overall. I think the risks are significant, but often not apparent. Obviously it varies by individual. Maybe you're the type of person who says "I don't care if someone with a large audience libels me to a huge number of people and tries to get me fired". In which case, good for you. But that's a real possible downside.

I like and relate to your thoughts here. I think blogging is very fun, and although my readership is still tiny, it brings me joy (and/or dopamine) to post my writing where it can be seen by anyone—and potentially make a difference in someone’s life.
